The
Edo University, Iyamo, Edo state, is one of Nigeria's latest state
government owned universities, and it began it's first session in April
of this year.
However, going by the fees which students of Accounting and Computer
Science have to pay, it is safe to say that Edo University is the most
expensive 'public' university in Nigeria.
100 level students are required to pay N710,000, and this does not
include acceptance fee of N50,000, cost of feeding and books. Other
courses in the university cost N660,000 minus acceptance fees, feeding
and books.
