A former Nigerian pepper hawker has taken to her Facebook account to give a testimony of how she turned her life around to become a PhD holder in University of Saskatchewan, Canada.
The lady identified as Ade Ola gave a narration of how she hawked pepper due to the financial difficulties of her family.
The PhD holder said that she obtained a second class upper in her first degree which gave way to a higher education abroad.
On completion of her Masters degree, she got three full scholarships and eventually chose University of Saskatchewan in Canada.
There, she became the first black person to bag a PhD in Biochemical Engineering.
