Firstly I should ask...how do you feel getting d lextorch blog personality of d month spot?
Aishat: Thank you. It's really a great honour to be chosen as the lextorch blog personality of the month.
LexTORCH: Well...your passion for what you do, got you the spot..so kudos to you.
For those who Dont know you...do say a few things about you.
Aishat: Thank you dear.I'm ibraheem Aishat,a student of university of ilorin,business administration, 400l and a makeup artist.
LexTORCH: Lovely...so Aisha..how did make up start for you?..Or was it a talent u had since birth..Like most people say.
Aishat: I wouldn't say it was a talent I had from birth but when I was a teenager,I loved using makeup a lot,I loved creating different looks on my face and when I realized I could get better by going to a makeup school,I decided to take it serious.
I would say it's a passion for me.
LexTORCH: What/who would you say inspires you?
Aishat: Nothing really.
LexTORCH: Not even God?
Aishat: God is everyone's inspiration, I think..
LexTORCH: So I thought too...till you said nothing Aishat.
Aishat: *smile*
LexTORCH: Every single person who's into one business or the other must have one challenge or d other...what would you say has been your challenge in this make up business?
Aishat: I've had a whole lot of challenges but the worst so far is how clients accuse me of charging so high,some of them go as far as asking if they can pay 500 naira for a session.
LexTORCH: Oh my God...500? How could people be so cruel..personally i won't entertain those kinda clients.
Aishat: Maybe if someone told me she had that kind of challenge,I would say I won't entertain them too. But one just has to be really strategic when it comes to business,I try to convince them to see reasons the price won't work for the service I want to render and persuade them to add a little more to the money.
LexTORCH: Genius *thumbs up* .
How do you react to attention and advances gotten from men?
Aishat: I ignore them most times.
LexTORCH: Very necessary i believe... They are all distractions.
Quickly outside d box ...what's your view about the state of Nigerian and its economy right now...450 Naira to a dollar last I checked.
Aishat: I really don't have anything to say about the present Nigeria situation.
I just believe it's a test of time and very soon,God in His infinite mercy will solve the problems.
LexTORCH: So you believe in President Buhari bringing change to Nigeria?
Aishat: I believe God is going to bring change to Nigeria
LexTORCH: Well...that makes two of us *wink*
