It’s just 11 days to the 2016 Ed-El-Kabir celebration, and as a result
prices of various sizes of rams have gone up astronomically across
Nigerian states such as Abuja, Lagos, Ibadan and other parts.
The economic situation of the country also contributes to the increase in prices as well.
Checks by newsmen revealed that the prices were higher than what the rams sold for in 2015, with a small size ram now being sold for N30,000 – N40,000 as against N17,000 it was sold last year.

Medium ram – N60,000 and N65,000,

It was even discovered that apart from their high cost, rams were not even available in the most of the markets visited at Gwagwalada, Zuba, Mararaba, Nyayan, Lugbe, and Mpape.
Lagos State Ojota
Big ram – N135,000
Medium ram – N60,000 and N70,000.
Meiran ram market in Meiran area of the Lagos-Abeokuta Highway
Smallest ram – N55,000
Big ram – N200,000 and N180,000.
