Syndik8 Records DJ, DJ Obi Set to Break World Record by Djing for 10 days Straight

The current record for Longest DJ Set is 200 hours and was set on November 19, 2014 in Dublin, Ireland. Starting today, DJ Obi attempts to make history with a continuous 240 hour set at Sao Café located in Lekki Phase One.

Speaking on his record-breaking attempt DJ Obi says, “This is a dream that we’ve been working on for over eight months. It means a lot to me and there’s no better way to show the world that Nigerian DJs are a force. 
I’m excited the day to finally get started is here. Lagos, I need your love and support so please come through to Sao Café. And all my Nigerians please hit me up on social media. Let’s go!”
The award winning DJ Obi has worked all over the globe, from Nigeria, to Los Angeles and everywhere in between. In his nearly decade long career, he has worked on stage with artists such as Lupe Fiasco, 2face, Lynxxx, Banky W, M.I., Naeto C and countless others. With his extremely diverse music catalogue, he’s known for his versatile DJing style.

The DJ has currently worked  with singer Sean Tizzle in a song titled ‘Murder me’ off his upcoming project going by the name of the track "Murder me". The track was produced by D’tunes.
