Roman Abramovich ready to sanction £90m Chelsea transfer spree on Romelu Lukaku and John Stones

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is ready to fund a major squad overhaul in the upcoming summer transfer window.

The Blues, currently 10th in the Premier League table, have endured by far their worst season since the Russian bought the club in 2003.
Everton pair Romelu Lukaku and John Stones are now among Chelsea’s top transfer targets, with Abramovich prepared to sanction a double deal worth roughly £90million, according to the Daily Star.
Chelsea only sold Lukaku to the Toffees two years ago, but are willing to spend big to bring the Belgian back to Stamford Bridge after his outstanding form this season.

The west Londoners also remain keen on adding Stones to their struggling defense, despite some worrying performances of his own in recent games.
Incoming manager Antonio Conte is said to be a big fan of the England international, whom Chelsea failed to sign last summer despite repeated bids.
