Ghanaian Footballer, Abdul Majeed Waris bags brace upon return from Lorient exile.

Ghanaian forward Abdul Majeed Waris returned to his FC Lorient team on Saturday with a bang after the player was reportedly demoted to Lorient’s team B for disrespectful behavior towards his manager.

The Blacks Stars forward made all the right headlines against a team he lost his cool in the first leg. Waris was shown a red card for a reckless kung fu tackle during the French Ligue 1 game against Guingamp last year.
But on Saturday, the striker scored two of Lorient’s four goals in their 4-3 comeback victory over Guingamp in the French Ligue 1 without a booking.
Away team Guingamp started the game on a high foot opening their account after just three minutes of play via Yannis Salibur before doubling their lead in the 37th minute through the same player.
Ghana international Abdul Majeed Waris pulled one back for his FC Lorient side two minutes later to the take the game into the interval with Guingamp leading 2-1.
Benjamin Jeannot leveled the scoring for Lorient before Abdul Majeed Waris scored again to put his side ahead on 3-2.
Jimmy Briand made it 3-3 ten minutes later but Raphael Guerreiro of FC Lorient scored in additional time to hand all three points to Waris’ side.
The Ghana international played in the entire duration of the game between FC Lorient and Guingamp.
