Multiple award-winning actress, Lydia Forson, has taken a swipe at comedian turned musician, David Oscar, for naming her among the list of Ghanaian female celebrities he would love to date on Pulse TV.
David Oscar,
who claims he is still single disclosed that, should any opportunity
arise for him to date any Ghanaian female celebrity, it would be either Helen Asante, Yvonne Nelson or voluptuous Lydia Forson.
On
seeing the news, Lydia didn't hesitate to punch him for including her
and Yvonne in his list. According to 31-year-old actress, David Oscar
once described her and Yvonne as 'attention seekers' 'so he should keep their names out of his mouth'.
"Well , David Oscar, you say we like attention but you can't keep our names out of your mouth," Lydia tweeted.
Another tweet immediately followed "In the words of Lupita,'your dream are valid' *coughs if reachable."
David Oscar vs. Yvonne Nelson and Lydia Forson beef
In 2015, President John Dramani Mahama picked actor John Dumelo as his favourite Ghanaian actor which Yvonne Nelson and Lydia Forson saw as discriminatory.
This led to series of social media rants among celebrities where David Ocar took to his Facebook page to jab Yvonne Nelson and Lydia Forson, and describing them as 'attention seekers'.
“It’s
funny when I see people create raucous over “Mahama’s list”. Why do we
pretend that you need one man’s approval to validate your success. Lydia
Forson is hurt for not making that “all important list”? SMH.
We
need to quit seeking attention from every quarter and seek attention
for the right causes. How does your name being mentioned by the
president, help correct all the socio-economic developmental woes of our
country, continent and world?
Let’s quit being myopic. As for Yvonne Nelson’s comments, the least said about it, the better. Good night," David Oscar wrote.
This
is why Lydia felt it was unnecessary for David Oscar to have mentioned
her name in his list of celebrities he would love to date.
