Four feared dead in Power station explosion.

Three workers are missing after one died and five more were taken to hospital when a major power station exploded and collapsed yesterday.

Witnesses said the Power Station in Oxfordshire was felt 'shuddering' following the blast, while others described it collapsing ‘in a huge pile of dust’.A further 50 people were treated for dust inhalation at the scene - with specialist urban search and rescue teams, including sniffer dogs, at the site.
Six ambulances and two air ambulances were sent by South Central Ambulance Service to the ‘major incident’ and a 300ft cordon was in place. It is not believed that the blast at about 4pm yesterday was planned, with demolition of the site expected to be completed by the end of the year.
