To Ekene Nwankwo, Emeka Igwe, ChidiAgu and Ebuka, abducting Ekene
Okonkwo, a successful Enugu-based businessman, on November 21, 2015, was
their ticket for a beautiful Christmas and New Year celebration.
Okonkwo however died in their custody after 7 days of torture and
inability to pay the N10m ransom placed on his head. The abductors were
subsequently arrested, safe for Ebuka. They’re now expressing regrets
and pleading for forgiveness, saying they’d turn a new leaf, if set
free.
