Gov. Ambode flags off “One Lagos Fiesta”

Yesterday. Lagos State Gov. Ambode flagged off the ‘One Lagos Fiesta’ at the Agege Stadium, in fulfillment of his campaign promise to run an all-inclusive government, where every community will not be left out in the scheme of affairs.see more pictures after the cut..

 Instead of the usual omnibus “Lagos Countdown” that is usually held at the Bar Beach, the event was rejiggered into ‘One Lagos Fiesta’ which will hold simultaneously at Epe, Badagry, Ikorodu, Agege and Lagos Island. It is tailored towards ushering in the New Year.

 At the flag off, the FG, through the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed hailed Lagos State for the innovative annual countdown event, describing it as the biggest of its kind in sub-Saharan Africa.
