Muhammet Bozkurt, 17, and Caglar Savasci, 19, were with 3 other friends
who had hired a car for a road trip from Alanya to Antalya, Turkey.
They’re killed after they laid down in the middle of a road to try and
get a
selfie with a plane in the background.
They were hit by a truck outside the airport as the plane came in to
land. Their friends said they had stopped by the perimeter fence and
wanted a selfie of the 5 of them with landing planes.
But it was dark and the lorry driver didn’t see them, running them
over. The other three rolled out of the way and police said they had all
been drinking alcohol. The driver of the lorry called emergency
services.
